Construction Management - A process wherein a project manager and architect / engineer work as a team from the conception phase through occupancy of a project, to insure that the essential components of time, cost and quality are integrated into a plan which best meets the needs of the owner. The project manager assumes responsibility for the evaluation of multiple prime contractors, awarding contractors, scheduling, coordination, inspection, and other duties typically assigned to the general contractor.
